A piece of local stone carved with a 7th century Christian Cross or a type otherwise unknown in Scotland and Ireland. Parallels exist in County Durham, Radnorshire and Carmarthenshire. A later cross was added below the left arm of the old cross. This cross was originally upright. There was a Chapel reported in Strathy around the 13th century.
