This is Golspie's hidden gem: a spectacular short walk up a gorge criss-crossed by footbridges and ending in a waterfall. A really excellent circuit. This is one of the finest woodland walks in Sutherland.
The well-maintained paths cross the burn by a series of bridges and allow access up to a waterfall. Spring and early summer are especially good times to visit, when there is a profusion of woodland flowers and birds throughout the site. Interesting plants present include moschatel, enchanger's nightshade and opposite-leaved golden saxifrage.
