In 2013 he completed the Tour de Mont Blanc. He is an active member and walk leader in his local Ramblers group and enjoys developing walks for the Ramblers website. He is Area Walks Editor for the Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and West Middlesex Area of the Ramblers. Trained in engineering and laws, he now prefers to put his technical writing skills to work on walking route descriptions. Originally from near Washington, DC, USA, he has lived in Hertfordshire, UK since 2010.
